Gift-givers often underestimate the power of gourmet chocolate gifts. The problem is that everybody sells chocolates these days. Not just the supermarket, the drugstore, the corner grocer, but even kids in school, for charity, for chrissakes! This had made people think that chocolate is just chocolate, and that chocolate is just candy. And cheap.
Well, while gourmet chocolate can be affordable, it almost certainly isn’t inexpensive. Okay. That’s true. But it ain’t just candy, either; it’s a food. Okay, not something you can just live on for the rest of your life, exactly, but a food nonetheless, something with a reasonable amount of nutrients. But the main attraction is the taste, of course, and for that there’s nothing like gourmet chocolate.
